As we bid farewell to summer, we investigate more about migrating birds who are bidding their own farewell to UK shores this month.
Peanut butter is an excellent feed for birds as like peanuts and other nut varieties; it is rich, and nutritious. It provides an essential energy boost, so it is a great choice through the winter and is tasty and full of goodness.
All of the peanut butter for wild birds that we stock contains high levels of protein, fibre, fat and moisture as it is comprised of a specialised blend of suet, peanuts and seeds. It is therefore packed with calories yet low in salt and other preservatives.
Aside from the nutritious element, a huge benefit of feeding peanut butter is that it is quick and easy to feed, simply remove the lid of the 330g jar. It can then be fastened to a wall, post or tree trunk, or simply hung in a specialised peanut butter feeder.
