Brinvale Coronavirus Updates
We are pleased to see that customers are following Government advice. We are advising any customers who wish to come to the shop to pay beforehand and collect their orders from outside, so that no contact is needed. In terms of online delivery, we are still processing all orders on the same day and dispatching the same day. However, due to volumes of orders and strict working conditions (such as safe working distances), there may be a slight delay in orders placed later in the day. However, this may change as the days continue and when new information becomes available.
Following the Government announcement that people need to stay inside and only travel where necessary and only 'essential' places need to stay open and operating fully. As we are an online service and also provide food for wild birds and poultry, we have taken the decision to continue as normal to ensure our customers can still get their birdy needs with the same service we usually offer. We also have switched to DPD as our courier who themselves have new plans in place to follow since the outbreak started.
We have again reviewed the health and safety in the shop and our warehouse to ensure that the high standards expected are adhered to. We have also brought in limits of the number of customers allowed in our shop to support the social distancing we need to be doing. We are encouraging customers
Brinvale is to remain open but closely following government and health advice. Extra precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of staff and customers is at the forefront of what we do. We have worked with our courier to ensure no signature is required for any parcels so that it can be left at our customers' homes 'contact-free' (this will require a photo of the parcels left in your safe place by the driver).
