Brinvale Have a New Delivery Provider, DPD

We would love to announce that we have now started a new partnership with the delivery Courier DPD and we will be continuing to provide the best delivery service possible along with some additional benefits to both yourselves as customers and us as suppliers. We have been working behind the scenes while setting this up to ensure that not only we keep the current service we provide but to further improve and develop to keep to the high standards of ourselves, and of you, our customers. Below are a few highlights we wish to bring to your attention:

Tracking Updates

We know that some of our customers do like to keep check of where their parcel is, whether they can nip out, whether they need to stay in or whether they wish to update some delivery instructions, well now it can all be done. Firstly, if you provide your mobile number or email address in the delivery details, you will receive a notification of when it's been processed and ready for DPD. You will also receive a message in the morning with a 1-hour time slot of when your delivery will be made.

Not going to be in? No problem, as with the DPD app you can enter your tracking number (which you will receive on your notification) and track your parcel and update any delivery instructions, such as 'please delivery to number 34 if out' or 'please leave in the garage'. All of our parcels are done under the 'no signature required' service, unless you ask for specific instructions. However, when DPD leave a parcel safe, they will take a picture and allow you to see it on the app so you can get it as soon as you're back home.

If the app isn't something you're interested in, then, of course, you can still ring us up for tracking info. We have a new streamlined tracking process at this end for us to locate your parcels and also give more in-depth details on delivery and parcel location too.

As a company, Brinvale has been taking steps to become more eco-friendly as is needed to help the current world we live in. We have moved to make all the packaging we can fully recyclable, and also have a recycling scheme set up for our customers to take advantage of too. With all this going on, we knew we wanted to make our deliveries more eco-friendly too, especially with lots of you ordering.

DPD shares the same values we do and has started rolling out a new environmentally-friendly fleet of electric vehicles, being used in more conjested areas such as London, but will continue to grow and expand with the aim of having 500 electric delivery vehicles on the road by the end of 2020. This fleet includes electric vans and lorries, to the new electric delivery cargo bike to travel the last steps in congested areas.
