Wild bird nests are always at risk of being ravaged by predators such as magpies, other large birds and mammals. A metal protection plate will prevent the nest box entrance from being enlarged by predators attempting to take eggs or fledglings.

These metal plates are available in two sizes – with a 27mm hole for fitting to a Blue Tit nesting box and 32mm hole for fitting to a great tit nesting box, also suitable for sparrows and other smaller birds.

Each protection plate comes complete with fixing screws.
