Free Delivery on Orders Over 10kg
We are delighted to offer free delivery on all orders weighing 10kg or more across the majority of the UK. This means you can stock up on your favourite bird food without worrying about any additional delivery charges. However, there are certain postcode areas where a small surcharge applies, due to our courier’s restrictions. We aim to keep these costs as low as possible and only pass on what is necessary.
Delivery Charges for Orders Under 10kg
If your order weighs less than 10kg, a delivery fee of £5.50 will apply. This fee ensures that even smaller orders are delivered safely and efficiently to your doorstep. However, if your delivery address falls within an area that requires an extra charge (as specified below), an additional fee may also apply. We encourage customers to combine their purchases to reach the 10kg threshold for free delivery.
Extra Charge Zones
Some postcode areas, especially in more remote parts of the UK, may be subject to additional delivery charges. These charges are set by our delivery partner, DPD, and reflect the increased cost of delivering to these locations. We have a comprehensive list of postcodes that fall under this category, which you can view here. If your postcode is included in this list, the additional fee will be clearly displayed at checkout, so there are no surprises - you can also see the charges below.
Please note that any applicable surcharges are necessary to ensure we can continue offering a reliable and efficient service to all parts of the country, including those harder-to-reach locations.
Next-Day Delivery Service
We understand how important it is for your bird food to arrive quickly, so we offer a next-day delivery service as standard. Orders placed before 5pm, Monday to Friday, will be dispatched on the same day, ensuring they reach you the following working day (excluding bank holidays). Whether you're topping up on birdseed or ordering new feeders, you can expect swift delivery.
For areas within the extra charge zone, while we strive to maintain next-day delivery, please allow a little extra time for your order to arrive. We will always provide estimated delivery times at checkout.

Important Notes
- Deliveries are made Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 5pm on Friday or over the weekend will be dispatched on the following Monday.
- During peak times or unforeseen events, such as severe weather or courier delays, delivery times may be affected. If there are any changes to your delivery schedule, we will notify you as soon as possible.
- We work closely with our courier to provide the best possible service, ensuring your items are carefully handled and delivered in perfect condition.

Return & Refund Policy
At Brinvale, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely happy with your order, we are here to help.
Our 14 Day Money Back Guarantee
We offer a 14 day money back guarantee on all food orders, with the exception of any live foods such as mealworms, if you are not satisfied with your order when received.
Simply contact us as soon as you receive your order (within 5 days) and we'll arrange for a return with you. Once the order has been received by us we'll action your refund, or an exchange if this is what you'd prefer.
Returns
Any goods that are received from us in a faulty or damaged state can be returned under our extended 30 day money back guarantee for faulty or damaged goods. If items are damaged upon arrival please contact us there and then. Please be aware that we may ask for photos of the item so that we can assess the situation. Products are classed as not faulty if they are delivered intact, in original packaging, and with no defects in the product itself. Any items returned must be returned as arrived with the packaging and any relevant paperwork necessary.
Should you receive any damage to any Garden Furniture purchased, Brinvale needs to be notified as soon as possible with these items. A delay in notification could delay to process of sorting out a replacement/refund if applicable.

How To Initiate a Return
To begin the return process:
- Contact us at info@brinvale.com or call us on 01664 823 230 to inform us of your return request.
- We will provide instructions on how and where to send your return.
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged.
Refunds
Once your return is approved, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 7 working days. Please note that it may take some time for the refund to reflect in your bank account depending on your payment provider.
If your item was damaged in transit or you received the wrong item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery, and we will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, please contact us at info@brinvale.com.
Non-Returnable Items
Gift cards or Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
