Ceramic Bumblebee Nester

The first thing you will notice about this Bumblebee Nester is just how fantastic it looks. Taking inspiration from Bee Basket from centuries ago, this nester really does stick with the tradition.

This frost-resistant model however trumps the old basket in terms of toughness. It provides a safe, ventilated, and dry environment for Bumblebees (along with small mammals). Bumblebees do often use old mouse nests as their homes, so don't be put off if you don't see Bee activity straight away.

Bumblebees navigate by sight, so it is key to place this in the best place possible so that they can not only find it but return to it too. Making sure that it is out of both direct sunlight and the elements is the main thing, so hedge bottoms and flower borders are great locations.
